This breathtaking venue, with its rich history, stunning architecture, and sweeping views of Florence, provided the ideal setting for their unforgettable summer wedding in July 2023.

The ceremony took place on the villa’s spectacular terrace, with panoramic views that stretched across the Tuscan hills and the iconic Duomo of Florence. A semi-arch of flowers in the couple’s wedding colors—white, light blue, and yellow—framed them perfectly, adding a burst of color while leaving the breathtaking view uninterrupted behind them. Following the ceremony, guests gathered in the villa’s charming inner courtyard, around a beautiful fountain, to enjoy a refreshing aperitif. The atmosphere was relaxed and joyous, with guests mingling and taking in the beauty of the surroundings before the evening celebration continued. 

The guests were then invited to pass through the villa’s iconic, frescoed tunnel, which led them to the stunning garden where dinner awaited. The setting was nothing short of magical, with a long imperial-style table set in a beautiful Amalfi-inspired style. The table featured blue and white majolica vases, lemons, and delicate blue and white flowers that echoed the Mediterranean beauty of the region. In the background swing Italian music.

A Dinner Fit for a Dream Wedding

The dinner setting was nothing short of spectacular. The round menu cards featured a watercolor illustration of Villa Medicea di Lilliano, a lovely personal touch that tied the theme together. The blue glasses and napkins perfectly complemented the blue and white theme of the centerpieces.
