Susie and Rich decided to get married in Umbria near Lake Trasimeno on 9th September 2017. Both lovers of nature, sports and Italy, they have chosen a corner of Italy surrounded by greenery. Favola Umbra in the suggestive context of the Umbrian hills, between Assisi and Lake Trasimeno, dominates the Nestore river valley. Among fields of wheat, olive trees and woods, it welcomes its guests in two ancient farmhouses surrounded by a beautiful garden.
The symbolic ceremony took place next to the swimming pool and after their guests enjoyed the wonderful garden for an aperitif. Rich and his bestmen wore Bermudas, typical of the area where the couple lives even today. This really gave a touch of originality and colour to the style of the wedding!
Blue and yellow were the colours that Susie and Rich wanted to represent their wedding and together with I Fiori delle Regine we created elegant and very fresh combinations of fruit and vegetables. The imperial table for dinner was full of colours!
A fun tableu de mariage themed playing cards suggested to their guests where to sit. Rich and Susie were obviously the King and Queen of hearts.
